I am human
I am a work in progress
Striving to be the best version of ME
At its heart, this picture book is a celebration of empathy and compassion that lifts up the flawed fullness of humanity and encourages children to see themselves as part of one big imperfect family—millions strong.
I love all Peter H Reynolds books. They are the most thoughtful, creative and inspirational books for children that I have come across and this one is no different. It shows us that we are all just human. We have capacity for great love and we have the capacity to be unkind and the capacity to forgive. It's up to us how we choose to be and knowing that we are all the same helps emormously.
