SELF CARE FOR SINGLE PARENTS, SEPARATED, DIVORCED AND CO-PARENTS
As a co-parent myself, I decided it was high time to put on a workshop for parents who are single/separated/divorced or co-parenting.
This positive afternoon will be all about self-care, empowerment and connection. We will start with a short, relaxing guided meditation, then we will go through a range of simple everyday tools will that help us be our best self and the best parent or co parent that we can be. It will also be a chance to meet new people who may be in similar situations and connect with each other through coffee, cake and chats.

Some testimonials from the lovely women at our first workshop:
"The self care for single parents workshop was an amazingly cathartic experience for me, I gained insight into some alternative ways to self care and it was healing to sit with a group of such strong people sharing a common experience and I thoroughly look forward to the next one."
"Such a fab day! So nice to find connection with other single parents. Emotional hearing everyone’s stories and heartening to know how we’ve all come through different hardships but found our strengths within them. Left feeling what a fab bunch of females we are 😊 thanks Dawn!"
I spent a very comforting and enjoyable few hours at Dawn's single parent self care afternoon. I left feeling supported by women I’d never met before but sensed the mutual respect and empathy led by Dawn and her own experience. I would love to attend again, I’ve met friends already from one afternoon and would highly recommend
Thank you for taking the time to organise the self day. It was lovely to meet other single parents in such a safe and supportive space and to be able to share with people who understood the unique challenges of being a single parent household. The atmosphere you created was really beautiful and it felt like a very comfortable place to speak openly, the tools shared to help manage stress were really helpful
too. I would definitely recommend this day to other single mothers especially in the early days as peer support is vital, it's encouraging to hear others stories who are a little further down the track and to hear both Mums and their children are doing ok.
