Self Care for Single Parents

 SELF CARE FOR SINGLE PARENTS, SEPARATED, DIVORCED AND CO-PARENTS

As a co-parent myself, I decided it was high time to put on a workshop for parents who are single/separated/divorced or co-parenting.

This positive afternoon will be all about self-care, empowerment and connection. We will start with a short, relaxing guided meditation, then we will go through a range of simple everyday tools will that help us be our best self and the best parent or co parent that we can be. It will also be a chance to meet new people who may be in similar situations and connect with each other through coffee, cake and chats.

Thank you for taking the time to organise the self day. It was lovely to meet other single parents in such a safe and supportive space and to be able to share with people who understood the unique challenges of being a single parent household. The atmosphere you created was really beautiful and it felt like a very comfortable place to speak openly, the tools shared to help manage stress were really helpful 
too. I would definitely recommend this day to other single mothers especially in the early days as peer support is vital, it's encouraging to hear others stories who are a little further down the track and to hear both Mums and their children are doing ok.
